Jumla LLC ("Jumla", "we", "us") provides a content and inventory management platform sold as individually selectable components. Our address is 801 Keystone Park Dr, Morrisville, NC 27560, United States. This policy covers https://jumla.online, our application and our support channels.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, business name, email address and phone number when you email us, request a quote or open an account.
- Account details — the users you invite, their roles, and authentication credentials.
- Billing details — the components you have enabled and your invoices. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.
- Your business data — the products, stock levels, suppliers, customers, orders and content you put into the platform.
Information we collect automatically
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and timestamps.
- Device and session information needed to keep you signed in securely.
- Aggregate usage data telling us which components are used and how often.
3. Email addresses and phone numbers
We use the email address and phone number you give us only to:
- verify that the address or number belongs to you, using one-time passcodes sent over WhatsApp or SMS;
- send notifications about your own account, such as security alerts and billing notices.
We do not use your email address or phone number for marketing, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information. No personal information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. How we use other information
- To provide, operate and secure the components you have enabled.
- To bill you accurately for the components active in a given month.
- To answer your enquiries and provide support.
- To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and technical faults.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the service against abuse, and a small number of first-party analytics cookies to understand which parts of the product are used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, though the application will not function without the necessary ones.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers who host, secure, bill for, message on behalf of and support the platform, under contracts that limit them to acting on our instructions;
- with integrations you explicitly connect, and only the data those integrations need;
- where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
7. Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. When you switch a component off, the data belonging to that component is retained for 90 days so it can be restored, then deleted. When you close your account we delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted, logged and protected by multi-factor authentication. We take daily backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify affected customers without undue delay if a breach affects their personal information.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and may opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — we do neither. To exercise any right, email info@jumla.online. We respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking.
10. Children
The platform is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
11. International transfers
Our systems are hosted in the United States. If you use the platform from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform changes. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
